The investment activities of the funds managed by T-Venture are based on three strategic business areas: Broadband/Fixed Network (T-Com Venture Fund, T-Online Venture Fund), Mobile Communications (T-Mobile Venture Fund) and Business Customers (T-Systems Venture Fund) and on the overall Group strategy (T-Corporate Venture Fund). The investment strategy of the funds is correspondingly embedded in the product and market strategy of the strategic business areas and coordinated with the business units, thus ensuring that investments tap important market and technology trends and can be used to the benefit of Deutsche Telekom. Investments to support overall Group strategy address, for example, the topic of product or market convergence or early identification of disruptive technologies.
